I do music engraving at http://www.engravemusic.com but, it’s not my main profession. I am actually a copywriter and a music teacher and I am very passionate about singing with my school children. When we sing in chorus it sounds so holy that you can truly feel you are in paradise and blessed by God. It showers positive vibrations in the air.
Every morning I use to read newspaper and all those negative news in them like terrorism, rapes, murders, strikes and so on. I realized that all such negativity affects our body and and health about which we are not even aware. I also learned that media news are more than 90% negative. So I stopped reading those useless newspapers and magazine and preferred to go to school and sing all the wonderful songs in the world with children. Of course the main reason going to school was something else which I have mentioned below.
I go to school with a purpose of teaching songs with sensible lyrics and good composition. Songs like Edelweiss, We shall overcome, Jingle Bells, Morning has broken, Java Jive, Do Re Mi, My favorite things…it’s a never ending list. I try out some songs with them by making them sing in high and low pitches or scales and they sound just great.Now I am dreaming of writing most beautiful songs for children.
Why I sing with children?
Well, I had a great teacher when I was in a convent school. She was also a principal of that school. Every Saturday in the assembly she would religiously bow down to children with joined hands. One day somebody asked “Why do you bow to children?”
She replied, “These are my children and when they will grow up they will be great human beings but, at that time I may not be alive so I am paying my respect to them now!”
She is not alive today but can any teacher beat this? What a love, respect and compassion for the next generation!
So I go to schools and sing with children in her fond memory.
