This article is about “Lauguages dying out”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Lauguages dying out”:

Indigenous languages are dying out all over the world, pushed out by the lingua francas and major national languages. Linguists predict that at least half of the 6000 languages spoken worldwide today will disappear within the next century.

Most people think that there is only one Aboriginal language in Australia – this is a misconception! Another misconception is that all Aboriginals speak English, or that English is their native tongue. Aboriginal Australia is one of the most linguistically and culturally diverse regions on earth. It is estimated that between 300 and 600 distinct tribal groups existed in Australia before the white settlement in the late 18th century, and they spoke between 200 and 300 distinct languages.

Today, only about 100 Aboriginal languages are still in every day use in Australia, with some spoken by only a few elders and most facing extinction. As few as 20 of recorded Aboriginal languages, such as Yolngu, Arrernte and Warlpiri are in a healthy condition, whereby they are spoken by large communities, including children and young people learning them as their first language.

Most but not all Aboriginal people speak English as their first or second language. In a country of 22 million people, only about 55,000 people can speak an indigenous language. After English, Kriol is the most widely spoken language – from the Kimberley to northwest Queensland. Across southern Australia, most people speak English and Aboriginal English (a unique variety of English spoken by Aboriginal people).

It is widely accepted that almost all Australian indigenous languages belong to one family and are descended from one original language, spoken thousands of years ago around the central north coast of Australia.

Over time, Aboriginal nomadic tribes moved over the whole continent, with different dialects developing into separate, mutually unintelligible languages.

The first words from an Aboriginal language, including kangaroo, were recorded by Captain James Cook in 1770. Subsequent words, such as boomerang and dingo, were adopted into English after Governor Phillip brought the first group of convicts to Sydney in 1788.

Another little known fact is that there are Aboriginal interpreters who assist their clients in a variety of settings, including medical and legal.

This article is about “Nirvana influenced by the fall”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Nirvana influenced by the fall”:

Nirvana was the one of the greatest bands of the 90′s. We all know that. We all know that their music influenced many other bands at that time and their music opened the door for many other grunge bands. All in all Nirvana was one of the most important bands in modern rock music. But what happened with Nirvana after Kurt Cobain died? How did their music influence other bands then and now? Does it still influence new bands and the teenage music masses?

I think the answer is yes. And I am not going to go into details such as post albums and tribute bands; I think the general approach is something that will explain this issue a little bit better. I think at first when Kurt Cobain died and Nirvana was no more Dave Grohl himself spread their music with Foo Fighters and Queens of Stone Age and other bands he was part of. So Nirvana’s influence continued in the work of Dave Grohl in particular. On the other hand Krist Novoselic didn’t have much influence on the music in his later attempts, which is obvious now seeing that he is now into politics and has forgotten the music life he once led.

But the influence that Nirvana and their music had, and still has, on people while they were playing and now after 15 years is something to be respected. When Nirvana played, people followed and were drawn to the music like fireflies to the light. That’s the best description of how their music was seen by the people, by teenagers, and the guys that are now working and some of them are in high government positions. The generations mostly influenced by Nirvana were people born from the early 1970′s to 1980′s. Those guys were 14 to 20 years old when Nirvana played and now are 30+ years old. My brother is in that age group and all his friends that once listened to Nirvana are all in high positions now and have great jobs. There are those people that of course didn’t make it, but they are in smaller numbers. And all the people I know that are successful and listened to Nirvana they still listen to it and consider them as the greatest.

This shows that Nirvana music didn’t have a brainwashing effect on those who knew how to listen. I love Nirvana. I was 11 years old when Kurt Cobain died, and I started listening to Nirvana in 96. Their music also influenced me and my generation in many ways, and their music was all about opening our minds. Many of us still listen to Nirvana while having serious jobs and college diplomas. It just goes to show that Nirvana was not music for the mindless like it was presented in the media. I once heard a woman say to her friend not to let their children listen to Nirvana, because that music makes people commit suicide. People fear what they don’t understand and they are close-minded and do not allow themselves to be told anything that goes against their opinion.

I just want to say that in the 21st century there are many kids who listen to Nirvana and who will grow up on their music. There are many things that influence us as human beings. A band we listen to is just a tiny part of that, but it can mean a lot.

This article is about “2003 atlanta bands of am”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “2003 atlanta bands of am”:

Angus Young, enfante terrible of hard rock and its poster-boy of wild onstage antics, is one of the most hardworking, energetic rock guitarists around. The power he packs in that diminutive, five-foot two frame, sets the stage on fire and brings his young audience screaming to its feet. In the opinion of many critics and contemporaries, Angus Young is one of rock and roll’s best and most under-rated guitarists. The founder of the band AC/DC, Young was ranked #96 on its list of the hundred greatest guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone magazine and the band was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.

Born Angus McKinnon Young on 31 March, 1955 in Glasgow, Scotland, Angus was the youngest of eight siblings in a family inclined towards music. In the early 1960s, the family moved to Australia, just as the rock and roll revolution was sweeping Britain.

The Beginning Of AC/DC

Young first picked up the guitar at the age of five, at a neighbor’s house and was fascinated enough to convert his old banjo into a guitar by restringing it. Young’s older brother George was already a successful musician with the band Easybeats and had the 1966 smash hit, ‘Friday on my Mind’ under his belt.

Inspired by their older brother’s success, Angus and another brother Malcolm also took up guitar-playing in earnest. They were tutored in the art by George, whenever he was home from tour. Young was impressed by the blues music of Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Chuck Berry, BB King, as also the music of blues based rock bands such as The Rolling Stones and The Who. He would be found practicing day and night on his guitar – a gift from his brother George. Eventually, Young decided that playing guitar was where his passion lay and joined his first band Kantukee.

In 1973, the Young brothers Malcolm and Angus finally decided to launch their own band, plans for which had been brewing since a few years. In search of a name for the band, they settled on AC/DC from the back of their sister’s sewing machine. AC/DC implied electricity with a hint of danger and was the perfect name for a band that meant business. The band revolved around the musical abilities of firebrand Angus Young as lead guitarist, who by then had established a distinctive stage persona. It featured Angus as lead guitar, Malcolm on rhythm guitar, Bon Scott on vocals, Phil Rudd on drums and Mark Evans on bass.

A Schoolboy With Style

For his onstage look, Angus experimented with various get-ups like Spiderman, a gorilla, Zorro and even a parody of Superman calling himself Super-Ang. But none of them seemed gimmicky enough, till his sister suggested that he dress up as a schoolboy. In the age of glam rock, when every rocker worth his name used lavish stage costumes, Angus stood out from the flock in his Ashfield Boys High school uniform complete with black tie, school cap and black shoes. It turned out to be a brilliant promotional trick as the uniform became the instant- recall trademark of the band.

Angus Young is famous for his fluid, beautiful playing style which is very straight blues. He doesn’t resort to guitar gimmicks as in extra accessories and amp-provided effects. Sometimes he is known to add touches of Scottish folk music to his playing- a tribute to his Scottish roots. He is especially known for his vibrato and his intricate improvisation in live shows. His music is pure, unadulterated, honest to goodness rock and roll that aims for the gut. Energetic and a livewire on stage, he has always believed in giving his fans their money’s worth.

Even as the entire rock world is gravitating towards new-age punk rock and pop, Angus and his band have admirably stuck to their unwavering devotion to good, old rock. Although Angus has the undying loyalty of millions of his fans, he is sometimes criticized in the music press as being too repetitive. However, as Young stated in an interview with the Atlanta Gazette in 1979…

“Its just rock and roll. A lot of times we get criticised for it. A lot of music papers come out with: ‘When are they going to stop playing these three chords?’ If you believe you shouldn’t play just three chords it’s pretty silly on their part. To us, the simpler a song is, the better,’ cause it’s more in line with what the person on the street is.”

Another gem from Angus, effectively displaying his commitment to giving his all to his music…

” We can’t sit on our arses and say the world owes us a living because we’ve paid our dues. Me; I think if I fluff a note I’m robbing the kids. You’re gonna pour it all on until you drop, so even if they hate you they can still say ‘ At least they tried’.”

Angus Young On Stage

On stage, Angus is power personified. His concerts exude exuberance and unbridled energy. His act is peppered with high intensity jumps, running from one end of the stage to the other, and his trademark ‘bob’ in which he headbangs while tapping his feet in rhythm, all the while playing guitar. He has also perfected the ‘duckwalk’ of his idol Chuck Berry which he adds to his live shows. In every live performance of the song ‘Rocker’, Angus would clamber onto Bon Scott’s shoulders, and they would walk down the aisle amidst the audience with smoke streaming out of a satchel on his back while he played an extended guitar solo. The highlight of each show is always the ‘spasm’, in which he falls to the ground, kicking, writhing and spinning in circles, never dropping a note on his guitar. This trick never fails to bring the audience to a frenzy. Angus has also performed a strip act on some of his performances. Young’s stage antics are the reason why each and every concert of AC/DC is a sell-out.

The ‘spasm’ came to be, quite by chance. In the pre AC/DC days, Young was playing live with a band named Tantrum, at a small nightclub in Sydney. Things were going pretty badly and to make matters worse, while playing a solo Angus tripped on a cable wire and fell. He started writhing and shaking spasmodically on the ground while playing his guitar, to make it look like part of the act. That was the only clap they got that night, and since then, Angus has been ‘spasming’ in every concert.

The AC/DC Albums

The band has released albums consistently with High Voltage(1975), T.N.T(1975), Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap(1976), Let There Be Rock(1977- this album had a simultaneous worldwide release), Powerage(1978), Highway to Hell(1979- their first million seller album), Back to Black(1980), For Those About to Rock- We Salute You(1981- their first album to hit #1 in the US charts), Who Made Who(1986), Blow up Your Video(1988), The Razor’s Edge(1991), Ballbreaker(1995), and their last offering-Stiff Upper Lip(2000).

Back in Black was released after the tragic death of vocalist Bon Scott in 1980 and went on to become a huge hit. To date, the album has sold 41 million copies worldwide and is the sixth bestselling rock album of all time. Brian Johnson was the replacement vocalist, selected after lengthy auditions.

Who Made Who is the official soundtrack for the Stephen King movie Maximum Overdrive released in 1986.

Thunderstruck- the opening track of The Razor’s Edge was based on a true life experience: lightning struck the small plane in which Angus Young was flying and the plane nearly crashed as a result.

Young Trivia:

Angus Young always uses a Gibson SG guitar.

His wife Ellen is from the Netherlands.

Angus does not drink alcohol in any form.

He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ( as a member of band AC/DC ) in 2003.

The five-foot two Angus was ranked #1 by Maxim on its list of 25 greatest short dudes of all time, ahead of such notable short dudes as Napoleon Bonaparte, Martin Scorsese and Yoda.

Rock bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Def Leppard, Jackyl to name a few, have been influenced by Angus’s style of playing.

Angus Young continues to wow his multi-million fans and rule their hearts in the only way he knows best- through good, hard, uncompromising rock and roll.

This article is about “Musicians who were inspired by nirvana”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Musicians who were inspired by nirvana”:

So often we see lists of the “all time” top 10 songs or albums, usually conducted by a magazine or a radio station. They serve two useful purposes. Firstly, they attract new readers and audiences, mainly of people who want to argue against any entry they don’t like. Secondly, they are a handy piece of market research. Britain’s Q Magazine recently published their readers’ poll of the 100 greatest songs (amusingly described as “the definitive countdown of the nation’s playlist”). The top two songs: Oasis’s Live Forever and Wonderwall. The message to Q: plaster the magazine with Oasis stories (which they do anyway).

As a barometer of long-term popular taste, these lists are mostly useless. They tell you more about the magazine or the radio station. When surveyed on their favourite song, listeners to Australia’s Triple J radio – proud devotees of “alternative” rock – have often named Love will Tear Us Apart, Joy Division’s influential paean to anguish and mental breakdown. Some years ago, a Sydney easy-listening station chose Bette Midler’s The Wind Beneath My Wings. (Strangely, Motorhead didn’t make that list.)

Classic rock stations in the 1980s were usually obliged to select Stairway to Heaven. Was it the best song of all time? Surely, it has won enough polls to lay the matter to rest? Then again, for most music polls, “all time” begins with Elvis and Rock Around the Clock, or perhaps even the early Beatles. Nobody ever seems to vote for Loch Lomond or Danny Boy.

One rare exception was BBC Radio 2′s 1999 poll that attempted to name the 100 best songs of the twentieth century, a period that lasted twice as long as “all time”. The average age of Radio 2 listeners was 64, so the list contained a wide range of songs, from 1903 (Sweet Adeline) to 1997 (My Heart will Go On). Nothing by Oasis or U2, but Stairway to Heaven made #35.

But even that educated list showed a listener bias: a preference for the laid-back and mellow. Despite the surprise appearances of Hound Dog and Satisfaction, the list was populated with sweet love songs. One could imagine Fred Astaire gliding across the floor to most of them.

And number one? That was the Beatles’ Yesterday, perhaps the most timeless song on the list. It could have been written in 1905, 1935, 1965 (as it was) or 1985.

Compilers of “favourite” album and song lists must find the Beatles a real nuisance. In 1997, a random phone poll revealed that (to nobody’s surprise) they were Britain’s favourite musicians, followed by Elvis and Sinatra. Whatever your audience, the Fab Four will always be there, distorting your audience survey. Even the hip young readers of Q Magazine voted for A Day in the Life as the top non-Oasis, non-Nirvana song.

Perhaps, when comparing such lists, that’s the only thing that can be ascertained. Not everyone is inspired by Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, or even Cole Porter. But if you don’t like the Beatles, you’re in the minority.

Yummy’s doesn’t serve wine, but, for that, they directed me to a little place in the same courtyard, Java Nirvana Cafe (2908 Beach Boulevard South, Gulfport, FL 33707-5548; 727-323-5904; Google place page). … This courtyard also hosts live musicians who were setting up on the small stage just as we were leaving.
The timing couldn’t have been better. I latched onto the band when Nirvana was all the rage and my peers were getting into punk bands like Bad Religion and Green Day – the latter of whom would go on to cover “Don’t Want to Know If You Are Lonely” …

This article is about “Connery genealogy”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Connery genealogy”:

If you have heard stories of your distant Scottish ancestors and are curious to find out whether you are related to famous Scotsmen such as Sean Connery, Ewan McGregor or Andy Murray then tracing your Scottish family history is a lot simpler and cheaper than you might think. The demand for genealogical data has increased significantly over recent years as more and more people are becoming aware of how easy it is to access genealogical data these days compared to 10 years ago. No longer do people have to actually visit Scotland to trace their Scottish ancestry instead all they need is access to a computer and hey presto they can view a lot of their family history records online.

Sites such as Scotlandspeople allow you to view birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates and census returns which can aid you in tracing your family tree. While sites such as Scotlandspeople and Ancestry require some form of payment to view their vast databases these costs are significantly lower than the cost of actually visiting Scotland if you stay in the USA, Canada or Australia and so can be seen to be relatively cheap. If however you do not want to incur any costs then there are other family history sites which allow you to view records for free.

One of the most popular free online genealogy sites is the FamilySearch site provided by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This site allows you to enter the names of your ancestors and it will search its records to see if it can match your ancestor’s details. If someone has already entered details of your ancestor then it could provide you with a pedigree chart showing the names of your ancestor’s parents and children.

The problem with some of the free genealogy sites is that their records may have been entered by incorrectly and therefore even if you do find details of your ancestors it is still worth viewing the original birth, marriage and death certificates to ensure the details on these match with details shown on other family member’s records.

There is nothing worse than identifying someone as an ancestor and then going off and tracing their ancestry to find out later you have been tracing the family history of an unrelated person who happened to share the same name as you ancestor and to have lived in the same area. So make sure you double check all the people you trace as being related to their family records to ensure they are in fact related.

Genealogy is an interesting past-time which is becoming more and more popular and as the demand increases more and more information will be supplied online and hopefully this competition will bring down the costs still further whilst at the same time this extra information will make it easier and easier to trace your ancestors.

This article is about “Bands on america 2010 scores”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Bands on america 2010 scores”:

1.	What level of English do I need to take IELTS?

⇒	IELTS can provide a test result for all candidates from beginner to very advanced. Remember, however, that the examination is pitched at intermediate level and above.

2.	How often can I sit IELTS?

⇒	There is no limit to the number of times you may sit IELTS.

3.	How often is IELTS available?

⇒	There are no set dates for IELTS. Most test centres offer the test at least once a month and busy centres may conduct more sessions at peak time of the year.

4.	Where is IELTS available?

⇒	There are over 250 approved test centres in over 105 different countries. Contact UCLES, the British Council or IDP Education Australia for an up-to-date list of centres.

5.	Do I receive a certificate?

⇒	No. You will receive a Test Report Form (TRF) from the centre where you sat the test showing your band score in each part of the test.

6.	How long is a test score valid?

⇒	As with all language proficiency tests, a result has a maximum ‘shelf life’ of approximately 2 years. To be valid after 2 years, an IELTS TRF should be accompanied by evidence that you have maintained your level of English through your studies or effective use of the language.

7.	What score do I need to get into university?

⇒	This depends upon the institution to which you are applying. While some will accept you at Band 5, most universities require a minimum of 6.5 overall with a minimum score of 6 in each sub-test. Some courses with a heavy emphasis on language may ask for a higher score. You should seek advice form the Faculty or University to which you are applying.

8.	Do I need to pass each paper to pass IELTS?

⇒	There is no actual ‘pass mark’ for IELTS. You will receive a TRF which shows your performance on the 9 band scale in each of the four modules. The four scores are then combined to produce your overall band score. There are no IELTS certificates – just this form.

9.	How long does it take to get an IELTS result?

⇒	You will receive your result within two weeks of sitting the test. The result will come from the centre where you sat the test.

10.	If I reach a satisfactory level in one part of the test but not in other parts, do I have to sit the whole test again?

⇒	Yes. You have to sit all four Modules each time you sit IELTS. Your score on all parts of the test will be recorded on each TRF.

11.	How long does it take to go from one Band level to the next?

⇒	This depends on your personal circumstances – your motivation to learn, your exposure to English and the amount of time you spend studying.

12.	Do I have to study at an English language school before I take IELTS?

⇒	No. However, it is important to be familiar with the types of questions you will meet in the test. Spending time in an IELTS preparation class with other students will certainly be helpful because IELTS differs from other English examinations.

13.	Do I have to sit all parts of the test on the same day?

⇒	The Listening, Reading and Writing modules are taken on the same day. The Speaking test is usually on this day but may be held up to two days later – at the discretion of the centre.

14.	Is IELTS available on computer?

⇒	A computerised version of IELTS – known as CBIELTS – will be available at some centres for the Listening and Reading tests. You can choose whether to take the Writing test on screen or on paper. However, you will always be able to take the pen and paper version of the test at all centres.

15.	What age must I be to sit IELTS?

⇒	IELTS is not recommended for candidates under the age of 16.

16.	Is there a difference between an Academic and a General Training IELTS score?

⇒	Yes. The Academic module is designed to assess whether you are ready to study in an English language medium at undergraduate or postgraduate level. A General Training score cannot be used for entry to a university as the emphasis of GT is on basic survival skills in a broad social and educational context. The results are not interchangeable.

17.	Which module should I sit if I want to emigrate to Australia or New Zealand?

⇒	You should sit the General Training module. A score of 5.5 is generally required.

18.	How many times will I hear the Listening module?

⇒	There are four sections to the Listening module and you will hear each part ONCE only.

19.	Will I be penalised if I cannot spell a word properly in the Listening test?

⇒	Poor spelling and grammar in your answers will be penalised though minor misspellings are overlooked. Both British and American spelling is accepted, however.

20.	Is there a choice of questions in the Writing Test?

⇒	No. There will be one Task 1 question and one Task 2 question. You must answer both questions in the time allowed.

This article is about “Free chord santa claus is coming to town”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Free chord santa claus is coming to town”:

Chapter One Birth to Early Childhood* Will this sick child survive?

Firstly, let me say that I only will be sharing about myself to show how much God’s grace has brought me through. I can attest that He will always be there for you. The Lord will never leave you, He will be there, even in the beginning.

I guess the easiest place to start this text is at the very beginning of my life, or at least the parts that I have been told about from my family. I was born 48 years ago, in a small town in Ontario. My parents already had two children, and were subsequently told that I was not planned or expected. This did not bother me in the least, I felt wanted and loved all the more. They also mentioned that it was a true miracle that I had lived.

I was born in the last week of the six month of the pregnancy. My mother had been accidentally bumped in the stomach, and one hour later went into labor. I was born just over two pounds. In those days, it was unheard of for a child to live through this ordeal. The Catholic nuns even had approached my father and advised him to buy a small casket. He was livid. His sense of faith astounded me when I first heard his response. It had simply been, “Is she dead yet, no, so I will not give up.” Whether he knew it or not, he had chosen life. With his words of faith, he spoke faith filled words to help me survive. I truly believe this. My father was raised in a “Greek Orthodox faith.” He had descended from a 300 year line of priests. It had instilled in him a belief in God and His ways.

The bible says in Jeremiah 1: 5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.”

This is so true for all of humanity. If we meditate on this verse we come to realize that God is and always has been aware of every person’s existence.

Every soul comes from God, He breathes life into us. We are not just an egg and sperm, but the union of the two and so much more. Science is just now beginning to add a dimension of spirituality of all that it studies!

My first years of life were filled with visits to the hospitals, incubators, allergies, and pneumonia. Why do some children go thru some traumas and live whereas others die? I don’t have an answer to this. I honestly just try to accept that which I do not understand, and let God be God. I do know that some things out of the natural do not happen by God’s hands. For example, humans choose genocide, abortion, to euthanize, not God. We have free will and hence traumas happen by human hands. I want to touch on this much later in the text, but for now would like to share a little more on the subject of faith.

I remember having an early curiosity about God as a child. Early memories at the age of four and looking for Jesus and the Easter Lamb of God in the backyard were not uncommon for me. I always looked for the spiritual in the most mundane things. I would want to see baby Jesus at Christmas, not Santa Claus. I wanted to see Jesus alive on every Holy Feast Day. My childhood had scattered bits of Christianity sprinkled over it, but it was enough to salt my life. It was enough to give me a curiosity and true quest for God and Godly things. I look around me today and feel so sorry for children that are not given this chance to hear about the Lord. A foundation in God ensures a child of the beginning of a life filled with faith. If we train a child up in the way of the Lord, when they are old they will not depart from this. Proverbs 22: 6 talks about this.

The synapses of the brain are forming from the birth to the age of five, especially for language skills. If parents even spoke about God, and the linguistic patterns were embedded in a child’s memory, they would be there for life. My science interpretations may be off somewhat, but the gist of the point is there. We are spiritual beings, not just physical. Man has an innate need to worship. Archaeological expeditions almost always find some sort of evidence of a cultural belief in a Deity. As we were created in God’s image, we desire to show this in our everyday lives. We need to believe in something. We need heroes, we need hope, prayer, faith, and we need God!

Children have an amazing sense of faith if given the chance. They believe so simply and surely. Faith isn’t complicated for them, if you tell them that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, they look at you in wonderment and want to know more. How precious! How much more does God want us all to have faith in Him as this? We not only lost our connection to God long ago in the Garden of Eden, we lost our innocence and sense of childhood wonderment and faith. It was Jesus who gave this back to us when He died on the cross. He took away our sins and paid the penalty for them, yes, but in this He regained our spirit filled faith…the spark of life that once was lost. It is His New Life that enters our hearts when we accept Him. It is a childlike faith that approaches God and asks for a second chance. It is this faith that you see in children.

If you are reading this as a parent, see for yourself. If you just mention God to a child, they know who HE IS. I remember doing so to my little one long ago. Even as a baby, I would pray with my baby. I can honestly say the response was so beautiful and pure; all I saw was just the sweetest smile. I have heard it said that babies talk is really God’s language. They are not just babbling to themselves, but communicating. Listen sometime with an open mind and heart…listens to the pauses and patterns in their speech. Many childhood psychologists would beg to differ on this point, after all, where is the scientific data to back up this premise. I have none, but I have faith, and believe this without empirical data. It doesn’t matter if you do or not, just know that babies, children are innocent, and deserve to hear about the Lord. God is everywhere, He is beyond time, beyond space, He is pure, He is love, He is fire, He is Life and He is pure. He hears childlike faith, and looks for it. It is like a light in the darkness, a beacon, a prayer. Why was Jesus so drawn to the children? He loved having them around. They simply believed Him and knew who He was without all the signs and miracles. He didn’t have to keep proving himself over and over again to them. They knew, and believed.

Now you will ask me where my biblical proof is to this. Look more closely at Matthew 18:3. He said that if we do not change and become like children we will never enter the Kingdom of God…where is that entrance? He is the way, the truth and the life. It is the initial faith of a child that God hears; it is the initial call to repentance that calls to God’s heart and cross. That is why He was and is drawn to the heart and soul of a child, because they love and believe Him, as we should.

I can honestly say that when I look back on my life, I see God’s footprints, His imprints and guidance in so many ways. Even to the fact that my next door neighbors were devout Christians who really showed their love for the Lord daily and to me.

Chapter One Birth to Early Childhood* Born under Hypnotism in an nonspiritual home.

Matthew writes:

I think that the experiences that a youth has and the loss of a father at an early age can have a dramatic impact on that youth’s ability to be able to parent when they are older.

My mother lost her father to cancer when she was a young teenager, and this was a profound loss to her. Shortly after her father’s death her mother reached out to Mediums to be able to speak to her husband that had passed on. My mother remembers going to the meetings with her mother and speaking to her father that was dead, though the meetings.

My mother therefore grew up right out of the Christian faith, and if anything you could say she had a very new age/Occultist concept of faith.

My father at the age of 15 years of age had a father who has re-married. His father was a widower as my fathers mother had passed away earlier. In all of my years I have never heard why my fathers mum passed away, yet I now that when my father’s father, re- married the new mother in law did not want my young dad Bob around anymore and told his father to get rid of him and tell him to move a few hundred miles away to Sydney Australia.

I think at 15 years of age as a youth my father must have been broken hearted to have lost both his mother and now his father, and on the trip on the bus from his pleasant fishing village country town, to the big smoke of Sydney, Australia. I am sure a few tears must have been shed.

At some stage my father must have become a Christian. I am not sure if his mother or father where Christians but when my father met the first lady that he proposed to he was at that time attending a Baptist Church.

Apparently that first engagement left a very sour taste in my father’s life as when he met my mother he was not attending church anymore. My father never told me this, but my mother shared this history with me. When he was engaged to his first love, the Christian lady broke her engagement to Bob with the words,

“I am sorry Bob I have to break off our engagement. I need my husband to be my spiritual head and you are not a strong enough Christian to be the husband that I need.”

As a man that has lost his first wife after two and a half years, I fully know how heartbreaking it can be for a man to lose the love of his life. I cannot comprehend how much more devastating that this would have been to a father who had no dad or mother to fall back on in this time of grief.

My father was only on the first or second date with my mother, when he asked her, “Are you a Christian June?”

My mother said, “No, I am not a Christian Bob. Is it important that I am one to you?”

“Quite the opposite in fact,” he replied, “I swore to myself I would never get serious with a Christian lady. I have no desire to marry a Christian lady.”

“Why is that so Bob?” my mother asked. What followed was the way my mother knew all about my father’s first engagement and the reason for it being broken off. No woman was ever going to break up with him again for being a weak Christian man.

The Bible states that a Christian should never marry a person that is not a Christian. The scripture reference that says supports this is:

2 Corinthians 6:14

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Not only did my father pick himself a person that was not a Christian but he chose a lady that had a known Occultist background.

Soon into their relationship June invited Bob to come with her mother to see a medium so that he could meet her father. My father said he did not know why, but somehow he knew that he was not to go to such a meeting. In the scriptures in the Law in the Old Testament a person who was a lover of God was commanded never to see mediums.

Sadly for my sake, this did not prevent my father from allowing my mother to be hypnotized by a doctor when I was to be born. My mum had found a doctor that hypnotized mothers in childbirth, and the result was that the mother would have a painless birth. I have to ask the ladies out there, who would want to have this sort of birth? It is so attractive.

The problem is that hypnotism is a work of darkness, and as a backslidden Christian my father should have said no to this; however he had no objection to it.

Satan was very happy with me so far. My father was not attending church, my mother had a New Age background, and here I was being born though witchcraft. As I came out of the womb I was strangled by the umbilical chord and almost lost my life. My mother thinks this could have done my brain damage at this loss of oxygen.

My mother told me once, “When you were first born Matthew you were shining. I thought that I had given birth to an angel.”

In another conversation she told me that in the hospital I had such a happy and contented disposition as a baby that she had to find a baby naming book to try and see a name that would suit her happy little baby. She came up with the name Matthew, meaning, “Gift of God,” or in other books, “Grace of God.”

I came home after a week at hospital and the near death experience of my birth was apparently not the end of the danger. When my mother presented my brother who was 18 months old at my birth, with me, her new baby my older brother’s first words where:

‘Where did you get him?”

My mother did not like his tone but replied, “Mummy got him in the hospital and now he is coming to live with us honey.”

My brother Rodney, said in reply to this, “Take him back, I do not want him.”

What followed were many years of my brother beating up on me. My mother told me that she could never leave me alone with Rodney as every time she did it, even for a minute she would return and I would be crying from what Rodney had done to me.

I had a father that had left home before I woke and most often got home after I was in bed, and would only see on weekends. I remember I missed my father terribly. I also had a brother that I had around me all the time and would pick on me and hurt me as often that he could.

I was a sad little boy. It was not a great start for me in the area of faith. There was no mention of God in our house, and there was quite a bit of darkness.

I grew up with a mother who had lost her father very young and a father who had not much of an idea about how to be a father a he had to leave his own dad so soon.

This early start set me up for a really trying life.

This article is about “Jesus paid it all key of e”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Jesus paid it all key of e”:

World Youth Day (WYD) will be held in Sydney, Australia on Sunday July 20 2008. Pope Benedict XVI will be visiting Australia for the first time and more people are expected than for the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Although WYD is a Catholic event, the Pope is an important figure on the world stage, and regardless of your religion, the Pope still has global influence.

So what does the Pope think about work?

Pope John Paul II wrote “Laborem Exercens” as a letter to the Catholic Church about human work, considering it to be an essential part of life. Here are 7 key points from the letter that can help you reflect on your job and your workplace.

1.	Through work, people can participate in the same creative action as God. Look around at architecture, art, industry, agriculture, business, cities, books, inventions, technology – even down to the chair you sit on and the clothes you wear. The manufactured world is an expression of human work and much of it is marvellous. People should imitate God in creation: work, and then rest.

2.	More attention should be paid to the worker than to the work they do, as people are centrally important. Workers are not just resources and business is not just an economic decision. “Work has no meaning by itself; it is the human being that counts”. Individuals need to work at jobs they can express themselves in, and be able to demonstrate their abilities. People need to be praised and rewarded for their work.

3.	Work is sometimes a heavy burden. “With the hard work of your hands, you will get your bread till you go back to the earth from which you were taken” (Genesis 3:19). Sometimes it is a physical burden and exhausts us; sometimes it is a mental or emotional struggle. But work also enables us to become more human, to learn lessons about ourselves, life and other people.

4.	Work is essential to family life, as it provides income and education. Working within the community for the good of the family and others also gives people a purpose for their life. Work can promote self-esteem and a feeling of accomplishment which are essential for happiness.

5.	Work should be rewarded appropriately. Financial reward in exchange for work is what keeps society functioning. Other social benefits should also be given to the worker including health care, holidays and rest time, and safe working conditions.

6.	Work unites people and builds communities. Unions and associations should be encouraged in order to pursue a common good and prevent injustice in the workplace. Work should be available to all people equally. Disabled people should be supported in their right to work. Immigrants should be given the same chance as others since they bring skills from other countries to their new home.

7.	“We inherit the work of generations before us and we share in the building of the future”. Work makes us part of the stream of humanity that continues in the world. We need to be aware of where we have come from, and what type of world we are creating for our children. We need to consider the effect our work has on society and the environment. Is our work building a better future?

“Work remains a good thing, not only because it is useful and enjoyable, but also because it expresses and increases the worker’s dignity. Through work we not only transform the world, we are transformed ourselves, becoming more a human being”.

This article is about “Game knowledge gamestop”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Game knowledge gamestop”:

GameStop is an international company that specializes in video game development and entertainment software. Its reach in the video game industry is worldwide, including Australia, Canada, Germany and Norway to name a few. With approximately 6200 retail store all over the world, online e-commerce and publications such as magazines and strategy guides GameStop has proven to be an untouchable media giant. There are many different types of positions available in this company, anything from development to retail sales. If you are familiar with GameStop, are a video game fan and want to pursue a career in this industry, your first step is to apply online.

Applying online is easy, but it still requires professionalism and tact. The first step is to make sure that you are completing the application thoroughly, truthfully and to the best of your knowledge. Try not to leave any spaces blank or be vague in your responses. It can be detrimental because of the sheer number of applicants; unanswered questions may cause the reviewer to automatically overlook you. Be concise when writing about yourself and past experience. You have a short time to leave an impression, so try to be brief and to the point. Proofread your application and if possible, have a friend or family member read it over as well. This ensures that any spelling or grammatical errors are caught and corrected.

Be sure to include any previous employment in this industry. It is important for potential employers to know that you have existing knowledge in whichever field you are applying for. Any and all knowledge is useful as you are going to become an expert in the gaming world with this job. For jobs in hourly sales, other sales and customer service experience is important. Be truthful and be sure to highlight any past experience in this industry. It is not necessary, but it will definitely give you the edge over other applicants.

When it comes to references, use past managers or supervisors who will speak highly of you. The last thing you want is for your reference to have negative comments. Also, it is best if they are relevant to the video game industry. On your application provide a name, number and address for each reference. Your potential employer is looking for a firsthand account of your work ethic, level of competency and personality.
